"Young Love" started out as a colored pencil drawing a few years ago, and has haunted me since, demanding to be translated into a three-dimensional sculpture, hopefully into Bronze. Somewhere along the line I digitized the original image and that made it even more clear that it is time to fill it out. So, during the fall of '95 in my moldmaking class at Cabrillo, I made the clay renditions of this and than made a waste mold and wound up with a couple of plaster figures, which, at this point, still need to be finished up, and then a final mold taken so I can cast a wax to have converted to bronze, which I hope will happen in the next few months.
