SUNRISE
in the
SANTA CRUZ AREA
comes in many flavors. Each and every day is a new adventure in life and a sunrise is sure a beautiful way to start it. It amazes me that in all of the days there have been since the beginning of time, there have never been two sunrises that were the same. I have no idea how the grand artist can continue to come up with a new way of expressing the glory of life each and every day, but it does happen, nevertheless.
The following pictures were taken during various times of the year and over a number of years. Some show the glory and extreme beauty and passion of a sunrise, and others are more slanted towards the magic and sparkle that can come in the early part of the day when the sun is low and the air is moist and the forest begins to awake.
