This is a close up of a small area of the Master of the figurative sculpture,"Birdwoman", by Michael Dunn. The original was a plasticene model from which a rigid plaster mold was made, and then a plaster cast was made and then finished up to a very high polish with the help of a lot of primer, metalflake paint, and many clear topcoats. A mold was then made of that master, and the Bronze and Hydrostone editions were derived from that.

The Idea was inspired by Birdwoman Falls in Glacier National Park in Montana.
